Tae Kwon Do (Youth & Adult)

Picture
Our Youth and Adult Tae Kwon Do programs carry on the character values of Lil Dragons, but the student gets more serious and disciplined in his or her training. Some skills students learn are forms/katas, self-defense techniques, cardiovascular conditioning, and supervised sparring.  The Youth Class is for ages 6 to 13 years, or until the student receives his/her brown belt at which time they move up to the Adult Class.  The Adult Class is for the student ages 14 and up and all belt ranks.

Student Creed

I will practice in the spirit of martial arts with respect for my fellow students, loyalty to my instructors, and respect for all people.

I shall live with perseverance, having honor for others, integrity with myself, self-control in my actions, and indomitable spirit, to finish what I have started, to reach my goals, and set new ones.

Students have the opportunity to compete in martial arts tournaments. This is a great way to meet students from other schools and push yourself to work your hardest. These students brought home the hardware!
